Just who does the NAACP think they are?

After our recent election here in Toledo (where Mayor Jack Ford was resoundingly defeated by Carty Finkbeiner), it was common knowledge that we had more than our share of troubles with the new voting system with its machines. I know firsthand as a poll worker.

Why did the city of Toledo enable the NAACP to hold a public meeting on this issue? Would Toledo have bowed out to the Ku Klux Klan if they chose to have such an attention-getter gathering? Why upstage the mayor? The city of Toledo should have told the racist NAACP to back off: this controversy affected the whole city and had nothing to do with race.

Shame on Representative Marcy Kaptur for attending their illegitimate meeting, instead of politely telling them they had overstepped their bounds. It's none of the racist NAACP's business except as private citizens, any more than it would be proper for Muslims, Jews, Catholics, Protestants, Caucasians, Hispanics, Asians or any other group to take the reins of this issue that belongs with our mayor who has again failed to take the lead. No wonder we voted him out.

Race Matters

Today race wars, race hatreds, race riots and race problems are among the world’s greatest social troubles.

Noah merely preached to people in his human lifetime. But Noah, in the
resurrection, immortal, in power and glory, will be given the power to
enforce God’s ways in regard to race.

It seems evident that the resurrected Noah will head a vast project of the relocation of the races and nations, within the boundaries God has set, for their own best good, happiness and richest blessings. This will be a tremendous operation. It will require great and vast organization, reinforced with power to move whole nations and races. This time, peoples and nations will move where God has planned for them, and no defiance will be tolerated.

What a paradox. People are going to be forced to be happy, to have peace, to find abundant and joyful living!"

As a firm believer in the plain truth of the Bible that Herbert W. Armstrong boldly taught, using it as my basis, I've defended our doctrines in many forums, and share this one example:

I'm sure you're aware that the Bible is an ethnocentric Book dealing with the Hebrew people, the Twelve Tribes of Israel, and only mentions other nations insomuch as they come into contact with our Israelite people.

There is the NATION and there is the CHURCH. God's Israelite nations have the distinct Law of Moses that grants resident aliens/Gentiles various rights to be treated fairly, own property and such, but not the right to have any say or part in the exercise of the GOVERNMENT. The Voting Rights Act should be repealed and treated as a treacherous and leprous lapse in national judgment.

The Church is Israelite-based (the Root) but gladly includes many Gentiles (Branches) who have been grafted into the spiritual Family and have the same incredible human spiritual potential as Israelites: to be literally born again into the literal Kingdom-Family of God that transcends this flesh. The Church of God needs to clarify and make widely known the biblical position on race and grace.

The Bible is a Christocentric book.

WRONG. The Bible is an ethnocentric book that includes at the heart of its divine message Israel's King would save Israel and Gentiles, "to the Jew first, and also to the Greek" (Romans 1:16). It would be politically-incorrect today to reach out to the Jews (representative of all Israelites) first and then to the Greeks (representative of all Gentiles). But it is biblical!

Romans 9:3-5

3 For I could wish that I myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my countrymen according to the flesh, 4 who are Israelites, to whom pertain the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the service of God, and the promises; 5 of whom are the fathers and from whom, according to the flesh, Christ came, who is over all, the eternally blessed God. Amen.

Some would vainly argue against Paul for even taking note of the legitimate differences or making a distinction between his brethren, his countrymen, and all mankind.

The entire focus of the New Testament is breaking down the divisions between people on the basis of race, class, and status.

Again: There is the NATION and there is the CHURCH.

The same New Testament that breaks down divisions, obstacles in the way of our equal opportunity for entrance into the God Kingdom-Family, still preaches women shouldn't preach, that wives should be submissive to their loving husbands and children obedient to their patient parents and slaves to their masters (1 Corinthians 14:34, 1 Timothy 2:12). There is a biblical order to follow and unique roles for all to play whether in the Church, family or nation (Isaiah 19:25, 1 Corinthians 12:18).

Yet some folks would rather follow their fickle feelings, getting swayed by their emotions, and rebel against the Word and Will of God, refusing to submit, proud and stubborn, failing to see this isn't about their inferiority complexes or others' superiority complexes, but what is right and what is wrong as God has decreed! Men are men, women are women, Israelites are Israelites and Gentiles are Gentiles!

Spiritually we all have an equal opportunity, once called, for various administrative offices in the Kingdom-Family of God. Some former Gentiles and women will be greater than some former Israelites. It's what we do with what God has given us, and God has given us various roles and positions and boundaries to work with within this life of living and learning. Women shouldn't feel jealous of men, or Gentiles of Israelites, or Joseph of Judah or Judah of Joseph, or Israelites of Levites or Levites of Priests. Satan can use a bitter root of anger or resentment, jealousy, covetousness, to defile those who let their guard down. We all have our proper place whether within the Church, nation or our family of nations.

The division of a unified mankid was not a gift, it was punishment
for a generation that was arrogant and decided that being unified they
would build a tower to the Heavens.

It was both a blessing and a curse. Deuteronomy 32:8 and elsewhere reveals God had predetermined to divide the Earth, the land, with the Israelites uppermost in mind (knowing He would create them) as various inheritances regardless of sin, just as there are divisions within the Holy Land for the 12 Tribes of Israel that are not divisive (Ezekiel 47:21). And those representative Gentiles, who have adopted our ways, shall remain separate but equal (to a degree), given designated areas as an inheritance (Ezekiel 47:2).

Any warning against intermarriage was on the basis of keeping their
religious practices pure, not keeping the race pure.

It appears to be both, as there is DUALITY in Scripture, something physical often representing something spiritual (Ezra 9:2). Genesis 30:34 and 35:2 reveals Laban's family were idol worshippers, including Rachel and Leah. Yet Jacob went out of his way to marry within his own kind, from his own kindred, just like Isaac did (Genesis 24:4, 28:1-2). Any intermarriage is the Bible is documented and is an exception to the rule, and the person follows the religion of Israel.

God did create the races and we do create a beautiful picture...IF... we intermingle. If I handed you a pallate of 100 colors of paint, and you kept those colors separate by huge white spaces on a canvas how beautiful and intricate could your painting be?

God didn't make a mistake in making us each beautiful but not wanting us to blur our own unique colors and characteristics. That is a form of adultery, adulterating, diluting our respective peoples and disrespecting our kinfolk. We're to stay within the bounds that God has set: kind after kind.

We are the body of Christ. One body, one spirit.

Again, that's the CHURCH. Regardless, women still can't preach and it's still "to the Jew first and then to the Greeks." There is an order that we must follow if we're to be faithful to the God of the Hebrews, our Great Creator God, the God of the Bible.

You seem to be implying that there is a racial root - possibly with biblical origin -- to the poverty and immorality that led to the incident in Toledo.

I believe there is a spiritual root to all sin. We're all sinners and in need of grace. However, aren't you aware that God said He would punish Israelites and Jews with some Gentiles who would act like animals, culminating in the Gentile confederation of kingdoms led by THE BEAST? Is God racist? Were Isaiah and Daniel and others who referred to various Gentile countries and leaders as animals, racist? Or realist? Does this mean every Gentile is a wild animal? Definitely not! Just as every Israelite certainly isn't a pure lamb! Yet how can God refer to "the worst of the heathen" that HE would bring against our hypocritical Israelite nations if some people aren't worse than others, all things considered?

I don't know you well enough to classify you as a person so I will not do that, but the viewpoint you express here is racist.

I'll gladly be as "racist" as the Bible teaches me to be, however politically incorrect.

There is no question that the Jews are God's chosen people. But the Bible was not written to bring us closer to and to teach us more about the Jews.

The Jews are only a part of the TWELVE Tribes of Israel, as brought out in The United States and Britain in Prophecy, but you're wrong about the Bible isn't written to bring us closer to and teach us more about the Jews. Apparently you disagree with Yashua's statement that "salvation is of the Jews" and "we know who we worship," and how the Prophets reveal the whole world will soon go after the Jews to learn more about the biblical God and how Israel (all 12 Tribes) will be God's Servant Nation, His Light to all nations, when all nations come up to learn about the God of JACOB-ISRAEL (Zechariah 8:23, Isaiah 2:3).

Please don't be offended at God. God has ordained that the world will learn all about His Plan of Salvation, and His Son, through His People Israel, predominately through the Anglo-Saxons and Jews. It's our NATIONAL calling, based on race and grace (Romans 11:28-29).

Gentiles can and must learn and adopt as their own our God-given higher standard for living (1 Corinthians 12:2). It was revealed to us to share with the world!

You are insisting that somehow God does not know that a Caucasian women and an African man can make a beautiful caramel or tan-colored baby that is uniquely beautiful. The same is true of all other races that intermingle.

If God wanted that, He would have created it. Instead we have the three major races and those who have been diluted/adulterated through no fault of their own. Mind you one of my sisters is married to a nice Mexican man, and one of my other sisters is married to a white man, and the other yet unmarried only likes black gentlemen (not the ghetto type). And I love all my sisters and their spouses, even though they know I believe IDEALLY we should all stay within our own race, our own God-given natural division. Celebrate diversity! Don't destroy it. Our God-given differences don't have to divide us. Look at the Rainbow where each color remains separate and special!

I am saddened that you distinctly think that the body of Christ is a racial experience when spiritual beings are not bound by definitions like race and ethnicity.

I'm sorry you continue to be blind to the great differences between THE NATION and THE CHURCH. Spiritually minded people are still guided by God's law, trusting Father knows best, and it consistently says a woman can't preach and Gentiles aren't to rule over Israelites and every nation has its proper place.

When we're totally spiritual beings, we'll be members of God's Kingdom-Family, having been literally born again, transformed from human to divine, and we'll then transcend the flesh, becoming literal Spirit-Beings just like God the Father and Jesus Christ in character and composition!

The neo-Nazi group whose visit last month incited the worst rioting in Toledo in decades said it plans to return to the city Dec. 10.

Spokesman Bill White said the National Socialist Movement plans to hold a demonstration against the police and the city for their handling of the group’s planned Oct. 15 march, which was canceled before it began but resulted in rioting for several hours afterward.

More than 120 people were arrested after rioters burned Jim & Lou’s bar, looted a carryout gas station and other businesses, flipped over a car, and injured a police officer and two firefighters with rocks. Two Blade photographers were also physically assaulted, and a WTVG-13 vehicle was damaged in the riot, which received national attention.

This time, Mr. White said, the neo-Nazis plan to rally on the steps in front of Government Center downtown instead of returning to the north end.

Mr. White said the demonstration would begin at noon and last an hour or two. He said there will be more uniformed members of the National Socialist Movement rally than the last time.

Less than two dozen members showed up for the Oct. 15 march, but the group claims dozens of other members were denied access to the area by authorities. Details for the December demonstration were discussed at a state meeting in Dayton over the weekend, he said.

City and police officials said they only learned of the event yesterday and are trying to confirm the information.

“We are looking into it to see what our next step will be,” said Mary Chris Skeldon, spokesman for Mayor Jack Ford’s administration. “We’ll have to see what they do, and we’ll have to respond.”

City officials have met and worked on legal and police response strategies in case the group followed through on its publicly announced intention to return, but she declined to discuss details of the strategies.

Ms. Skeldon inferred in the interview with The Blade the city may consider some sort of legal challenge to the planned demonstration.

In refusing to discuss the city’s strategies, she said city Law Director Barb Herring “felt strongly that we should present that to the court and not to the media.”

Mr. White said Mark Martin, the movement’s Ohio unit leader, left a voice mail message with a police lieutenant Monday requesting a permit to hold a rally. He said the group has had a dialogue with authorities, but he was not privy to any conversation.

Ms. Skeldon said the group has not applied for a permit.

Police Chief Mike Navarre said the city has not received any written notification from the group.

“Our position is we don’t want them to come back period,” he said. “They’re not welcome here, and we don’t want them back.”

Michael Sullivan, property manager at Government Center — a state-owned building — has not been contacted by the group.

“I don’t know that they need to have a permit as long as they keep [the entrances and exits] open and not obstruct,” he said. “It’ll be on a Saturday. The building’s closed.”

Bob Reinbolt, spokesman for Carty Finkbeiner — who ran against Mayor Ford in yesterday’s election — said regardless of who won the race, the current administration will be responsible for dealing with the group’s possible return.

“If we should win, we will work closely with Mayor Ford and his public safety team to make sure the situation is addressed appropriately,” Mr. Reinbolt said.

Rumors circulated that the group would return to North Toledo last weekend. Mr. White had repeatedly said the group would not say where or when its next event would be held. He said the movement’s national commander, Jeff Schoep, decided to announce the Toledo rally.

“He wants to make very clear the National Socialist Movement is a lawful and law-abiding organization. We are not trying to provoke lawlessness. To conduct this rally in this manner was the best way to reinforce this impression,” Mr. White said.

He said state leaders have been in the North Toledo neighborhood, and national leaders have been talking with people there.

Mr. White said if the group asks for a permit and is denied, it will march through the north end or other parts of the city either on the same day or around the same day.

“We are bending over backward to accommodate the authorities in Toledo even when they are not accommodating us,” he said.

Terry Glazer, executive director of the Lagrange Development Corp., said he is glad the group is not seeking a rally in the North Toledo neighborhood again. He said he assumes officials will keep the group out of the city’s neighborhoods.

“I know the Ford administration has checked the legal issues on this, they’ve told us that, and will prevent them from marching in the neighborhood,” Mr. Glazer said.

At least one juvenile, possibly two, may stand trial as adults for their alleged roles in last month’s riot, Larry Kiroff, head of the Lucas County prosecutor’s juvenile division, said yesterday.

Seventeen juveniles arrested for riot-related charges were to appear in Lucas County Juvenile Court yesterday. Many cases were continued for another trial date because numerous defense attorneys were watching videotape of their clients’ alleged criminal behavior for the first time.

Mr. Kiroff said one defendant didn’t appear and a warrant was issued for his arrest. Prosecutors plan to ask a judge today to certify one boy to stand trial as an adult; another request may be filed later.

He echoed the words of Dean Mandros, an assistant Lucas County prosecutor who heads the office’s criminal division, who last month said no pleas will be accepted in cases with serious charges and solid evidence.

“We take these cases very seriously,” Mr. Kiroff said. “This is not going to be open season on police.”

Annie Walker said she was shocked last month by the magnitude of violence that erupted in her North Toledo neighborhood when a planned neo-Nazi march sparked a riot.


"I didn't know the anger was so severe and so deep," Ms. Walker said.

Because of the Oct. 15 riot and the stain many think it has left on that community, Ms. Walker decided to join more than 50 people yesterday on a march through North Toledo led by local religious leaders.

"Today, we are about promoting peace, healing, unity, and love in our community, and it has to begin with us," said the Rev. Will Stuart of Nu-Vizion Christian Fellowship of the United Church of Christ.

The march started at Woodward High School with a prayer and continued though the streets where nearly a month ago looters struck several businesses, rioters assaulted bystanders, and crowds of people threw rocks at vehicles and the police.

More than 120 people were arrested throughout that day.

How does a march foster healing??? Are these religious leaders IN DENIAL? March madness is what it's all about: let's march for this and for that and upon Washington but refuse to face reality and deal with the issues involved:
PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY!

"...it has to begin with us." It has to begun with the hearts and minds of the criminals. They're the ones in need of some serious transformation and spiritual healing. I seriously doubt that any of those ministers were throwing rocks, wearing gang colors, acting like anarchists and torching cars or a bar! I doubt they were preaching like Muslim leaders do in their murderous mosques, riling up their members with bloodthirsty sermons. I would wager that the guilty individuals would do it all again tomorrow, but the next scheduled Nazi appearance in T Town isn't until December 10th and it is supposed to be downtown at the courthouse - an area most of the guilty culprits want to avoid!

If those ministers have any complicity in what happened, it would be indirectly by fooling themselves that the gang bangers are impressed or converted by their group hug. Let the ministers call upon those responsible for such a black mark on Toledo and a stain upon their souls, to come to grips with it and learn to express themselves in a more dignified and legal manner and mature.

Let those ministers speak the Word of God, showing TOUGH LOVE, for until the spiritual boil is lanced, there can be no healing! The band-aids of touchy-feeling nonsense only make matters worse, and throwing money at the situation is rewarding terrorism.

Remedy cannot be found until the spiritual sickness of drug addiction, drug dealing (the new slaver traders - "Let my people go!"), rampant immorality and idolatry (covetousness), sexual disease and illegimate children, abandoned women and children, and other terrible symptoms are addressed and the Scriptural prescriptions that are written shared.

Such ministers must not forfeit their duty to call upon young black men to assume responsibility for themselves to that Klan with a tan (Nation of Islam)! There is no salvation in Mohammad! Only in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ who offers DELIVERANCE from slavery and sickness. It is possible. I can testify.

God bless Toledo and our new mayor, Carty Finkbeiner, to face reality and deal with it, black and white, setting an example for the whole nation and world to follow whose eyes will be upon us.

I'm pleased to report that last I heard, individuals and the city plan to help out the old man who never should have been subjected to such senseless violence.

How Black and White can you get?

“The Nazis are coming! The Nazis are coming!” are what Toledo, Ohio's media were hyping all week about the National Socialist Movement's planned march in Toledo to protest black gang violence against whites in Toledo's North End.

Instead of wisely turning their backs on such a controversial demonstration, refusing to throw fuel on the fire and attract undue attention, Toledo blacks gave Bill White's best sermon. He couldn't have done a better job as a spokesman for the NSM. Such useful idiots proved the points he would have wanted to make and it made international news.

During the drama being played out on the stage of the streets, Toledo's miserable black Mayor Jack Ford was in denial of what he was watching. He said it wasn't a riot, “It's a group of folks who are angry,” according to The Blade reporter Roberta De Boer. When was a riot ever quiet? Doesn't he know riots are angry mobs gone mad? When his fellow blacks angrily reminded him, “Ford, you're black! You're supposed to be one of us!” - it appeared to confirm disturbing reports of Toledo police concerns that the black community's criminal element share the belief that they can get away with murder since Toledo has a black mayor.

Different enraged folk asked “Why did you allow them to be here?” It really makes you wonder if they've ever heard of freedom of speech. They can't all have dropped out of school. I certainly hope those who are still in school are made to shut up, sit down and learn all about it in the coming days and weeks.

All we've been hearing from the mayor so far, and various “leaders,” are excuses, excuses, excuses! The police admit they could've arrested far more than they did, but they didn't. What about cracking down on crime? Is that just another mindless mantra to chant around election time? The soft message the Toledo police sent was the wrong signal and invites further aggression in the future, here and elsewhere plagued with the same inner-city problems of roaming black packs, gangs of goons, drugs, prostitution, racial tensions ready to explode with the slightest provocation real or imagined. Many were outraged that they were “disrespected” by such a Nazi march through their neighborhood (that never went forward anyway). They disrespected themselves with their shameful reaction, showing lack of self-control, logic and reason.

Lee Conklin and Company, a local television Sunday show, this morning had several stereotypical liberal Jews and blacks on it (couldn't he have thought about it beforehand and chose others?) already talking about rewarding such terrorism by throwing money at it, building community (collective) centers for the children (”children” who have nothing better to do than riot) and obviously failing to take notice that the vast majority of those arrested were BLACK ADULTS!

A black woman preacher (doesn't know her Bible too well since woman aren't supposed to be preachers) who could barely speak English, thought things would calm down since the religious leaders undoubtedly would be addressing this incident from their pulpits (doesn't she know that most of those gang members will not be going to Church this Sunday or any Sunday or even on the correct Sabbath day?).

There was lots of talk about “let the healing begin” and other nonsense, refusing to face the harsh reality that THE BLACK BOIL NEEDS TO BE LANCED! Only then can the healing begin! The group hugs mentality and touchy-feely stupidity are worthless in addressing the issues that must be faced.

When will those self-righteous ministers standing tall and looking serious for the cameras (when they should be shrinking in shame), those smug “rainbow” coalition of kooks, get serious and confront the lack of law and order in the black community? When will they CALL FOR AND DEMAND OF THEMSELVES AN END TO IDLENESS AND SLEAZE that leads to disproportionate illegitimate children, immorality, STD's, drug dealing, glorification of crime, high school drop-outs and other such lack of proper content of character that Martin Luther King wouldn't be proud of? Why abdicate this responsibility to the “Klan with a tan,” the racist Nation of Islam?

If the black community wants some respect (sing it Aretha!), let them start with a proper self-respect and they'll get it. They certainly won't get it by continuing to let real racists excuse their inexcuable behavior, lower the standards for them, keep them down and out to get their votes or to pay for their gilded pulpit.
